Social Media - Consistency Baby

If you start a Social Media campaign.......facebook, twitter, blog etc. they you need to take the time to keep it up.

Social Media is a cumulative process. Each post, each interaction builds on the last. Lose the momentum and its hard to get back.

Doing a little everyday is better than doing alot once in awhile.

If you start it and keep it up, you will see results.

Social Media - Billboards can be social

There are great opportunities to combine traditional media and Social Media.

There is a campaign going on for Radio 104.5 to grow 'likes' on Facebook. So far they have over 10,800 fans.

One way they are doing it is with these mobile billboards on buses.

They are driving traffic both to the radio station and to Facebook. As they build listeners, they are also building a permission based marketing asset for their company.

Social Media - Forrester Report - Importance of Product Reviews

Forrester's latest report on Social Media contains some really good info.

The report gives some great information on the ROI of Social Media . Here's a quote and an idea from the report: "Financial ROI, for example, can be measured in terms of online coupon redemption, but also in other ways. He gives the example of online retailer It has found that 'Products with reviews have return rates that are 20% lower than those without reviews - and the return rate is 45% lower for products with more than 25 reviews - saving on shipping, restocking, and customer service costs.' "

So product reviews are important. The more a product is reviewed the less returns the retailer has. That's great information.
